A Golden Rune would be the best choice

Regarding Battle Rage, I think a Golden Rune would be the best choice (Generates 7 Fury per critical hit) with the same Indigo Runed Weapon Throw (Hit up to 8 targets), and here comes the important part, IF the weapon throw ricochets can crit. With 4% crit from Battle rage and 5% from Ruthless I would need only 3% from my stat sheet to give me 12%, which would mean every weapon throw (in theory) would generate 7 Fury; This should solve some Fury problems.
I have decided to take away Leap Attack from the equation and am now unsure of whether to take Ground Stomp (lots of good rune options here. Fury boost on Golden (if Fury is an issue with the build), Obsidian for keeping at range or Alabaster to kite them after stun wears off) or Furious Charge (Golden: generates 7 Fury for every target hit).
I really want to keep this build ranged to the max, so I don’t want to use any melee abilities, but feel free to if you feel a build similar to this one might be fun.
If you exclusively* use it as a finishing move you’ll never have a cooldown – meaning you can use it almost as much has you want which makes it a really  effective rage generator for weapon throw – the bonus damage on Ancient Spear with alabaster rune really reinforces this.
Both ground stomp and earthquake require you to get pretty close for them to be effective – I think you’re asking for trouble – although I could totally see Earthquake being a viable situational “escape” move to use if you get surrounded. You do however miss out on a really nice damage & crit bonus from Wrath of the Berserker.

Diablo 3 is the true threat to Sanctuary?

Male. Robes of royal red with a shining breastplate upon which the image of an upturned sword blazes. His nature is fierce, and he thinks that Sanctuary should be destroyed. Likely the Archangel of War.It would make sense in a way. He wants to destroy sanctuary and the word “blazing” was used just like in the picture.
If you look closer at the sketch at the very top in that picture it looks like Tyrael to me in the bottom right clutching his eyes. So maybe he was confronted by Imperius for meddling in mortal affairs and destroying the worldstone and was cast back into Sanctuary.
And a child will cradle Terror in his breast as the heart of man falls under the shadow.
A Wanderer will pass through the ancient lands trailing chaos in his wake.
The Three Brothers will be reunited as the mortal world trembles before their might.
And so it was foretold that the Three, once reunited, would be shattered again –
And the last of them would set his sights on the holy mount. The warnings held that
Their defeat would be illusory – that the final gambit had yet to be played.
When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram’s Cathedral seeking clues to new stirrings of evil,
a comet from the heavens strikes the very ground where Diablo once entered the world.
The comet carries a dark omen in its fiery being and it calls the heroes of Sanctuary
To defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells –
And even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself.”
So this means the comet is indeed from heaven and that some angel is “failing” or becoming corrupt.
When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram Cathedral seeking clues to defeat new stirrings of evil, a fiery harbinger of doom falls from the heavens, striking the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. This fire from the sky reawakens ancient evils and calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells once again. They removed the failing luminaries part, kind of weird. They still mention a harbinger from heaven though.
